Epson printers are just great!! As are most HP.

I hate Canon with a passion for the reasons that you mentioned. I have had this
HP3820 for over 2 years now and no problems. My mom has an Epson and no
problems there, either. Neither of us use the printer much, so there are long
periods between print jobs with none of the Canon-like drying and clogging.
Re-manuf print cartridges are reasonably priced, too.
