Have you tried the Windows Resource Kit?   'fsutils'  *MAY*  be of use..

fsutils - subcommand
*fsinfo <MS-ITS:ntcmds.chm::/fsutil_fsinfo.htm>* 	Typically used by 
support professionals. Lists all drives, queries the drive type, queries 
volume information, queries NTFS-specific volume information, or queries 
file system statistics.


dunno.. I was able to locate and download the windows resource kit from 
the MS site.. I don't have any special MS access..I just found it.
