I *am* using the mouse -- the issue I'm having is that it takes too
many button clicks and mouse movements to get to what I want.

If I see a url in my terminal window, I ought to be able to click
directly on the url and have that url show up in my browser.
I can do this easily in Windows. The process is essentially:
  1. Double-click on url in terminal window
  2. Start reading page in Firefox

With Konsole I have to (with the mouse):
  1. Highlight the url in the terminal window (double-click sometimes works)
  2. Go to the Edit menu
  3. Click "Copy"
  4. Find the browser window
  5. Double-click in the address box
  6. Go to the "Edit" menu
  7. Click "Paste"
  8. Click "Go"
  9. Start reading page in browser

Actually, I usually don't bother with the mouse after step 5,
because I'll switch to back to the keyboard and type CTRL+V, Enter.
But it's still a pain and a lot of extra motion, and it interrupts
the flow of whatever I was reading or doing.

I'm also simplifying things here slightly, because in my Windows environment
double-clicking on the url would open the page in a new Firefox tab, so
that I didn't lose any existing pages I happened to have open. To do
the same with Konsole I'm having to go through an extra step or two to
get the new file menu.
