This is more fun than I have had in months.
I just mounted (talked to) my USB 128M memory stick.
I found the step-by-step instructions at

I almost followed the instructions. I say "almost" because
lsmod was suppose to show that I had usb-uhci and usbcore.
I can only suppose that instructions written more than two
years ago for Red Hat might differ for an FC4 installation.
