[NTLUG:Discuss] wireless pcmcia adapter & KNOPPIX 4.0.1

Guys,
I have an IBM R40 laptop with a pcmcia adapter for a wireless
connection to my local area network. It runs under Windows,
so there is some possibility that I could run it under Linux.

When I run Knoppix 4.0.1, during the boot process, it gives
the message
PCMCIA found, starting cardMgr

This would lead me to believe the Knoppix recognizes that there
is something there.

When I try to run Knoppix System > Network Admin
it asks for a password.

Anybody know the password?
