If you don't plan on gaming, I think the 6200 is a poor choice. Too
many variables with that card. A 6600GT is better, but it's a 3D
powerhouse on Linux (good for gaming). Obviously, Nvidia will be making the shared
memory cards work better with Linux... you can check http://nvnews.net/vbulletin
to find out what works and what doesn't work.
I've got some Nvidia cards at the house that you can try if you like, that
are contemporary Nvidia or relatively high end. <yoda>Sell you one for
a song I will.</yoda>
You can get a 5200 pretty cheap.. that's more than enough.
The Quadro NVS 2D cards can be gotten pretty easily... they will
handle multiple DVI monitors and are very high quality.
Just my opinion.
