[NTLUG:Discuss] 1G eathernet to 10/100 eathernet

Here is a dumb question. I have a gigabit eathernet on my MB and want to
hook it up to a 10/100 cable/DSL modem or router connection. Will the
gigabit eathernet chip back down to 100M bits/sec in order to work? My
MB is an NForce 4.
