Hmmm, interesting.  What codec?

I don't think the 150 has MPEG-4/DivX, MPEG-2.  But MPEG-2
can always be converted, typically 3 seconds video for every
1 second real-time on my Athlon64.

Yep.

The MJPEGtools suite is the software-end for most things
(MJPEG/DV, MPEG-2/4/DivX, etc... decoding/conversion/etc...),
which GUIs then use.  I'm sure that's what the Plextor
leverages too, unless they introduced a better library (which
anyone can then use).

Not personally, but I've bought them for varius clients.

I actually have older MJPEG codec cards at home, but I'm
seriously considering the 150 for a new project.  I was
actually going to put one in with an ATSC card (the
3000HDTV).
