Yes, CRT currently have better guns than the latest TFT LCD
pixels can do.  But the gap is closing.  It's "good enough"
AFAIK, especially for desktop usage.

98% of the LCD problems are due to people using DB15/analog. 
There is _no_ reason to go LCD if you're not using DVI.
It's _self-defeating_.

And the limitations of DVI v. common DB15 is what?
What are you comparing DVI to?  If you mean versus BNC
or 13W3, then state such.

Plus eye fatigue, that's the biggy.  LCD pixels "on" not
refreshed like in a CRT.

Back in the day when TFT LCD changes were 50-100ms
(10-20Hz!), that was noticable when you were doing video or
games.  But today with 8-16 (62.5-125Hz), you're set.  I
recommend no more than 12ms for serious gamers, although 16ms
is probably almost as good.
