I read here

that drivers are required for it to work in Windows.  If that is the case,
I suspect that it will not work for you in Linux.

Is there some specific feature of that drive that makes you want it?  I
would just get a big "regular" external USB drive and use it.  This thing
seems expensive and overly complicated.
