Hello,
Anyone here do PIC development with Linux?
I'm just looking at doing this myself. So far it seems that the best
assembler to use is picasm and it would seem that good software for PIC
programmers is picprg (http://www.brianlane.com/software/picprg/).
Can anyone share what they use or recommend? Things to try / not to
try?
Thanks. I'm primarily looking at programming the Microchip PIC16C84.
But I'm certainly open to other programmable chips.

I used to work in a fire hydrant factory. You couldn't park anywhere near
the place.
