I have to agree with MadHat on this one.  Web based forums are really 
slow to read (can't just hit 'n' and go to the next new message), 
require that you take your hands off the keyboard, and in general 
require some learning curve for each new forum.  Mail works best for 
what we are doing here.  NNTP works as well, but mail centralizes 
everything into one interface, without having to go to multiple 
locations, keep track of multiple login IDs, etc..
