[NTLUG:Discuss] why does the mail server stop working overandover

Something I have often wondered...  Why, given the complexity; resource
consumption; and general instability of the current method of list
participation, doesn't it make sense to move to a web based forum?  I for
one would volunteer my time to make it a reality if it is something you are
willing to do.

I just checked my mini archive and this is something that has been brought
up before, so I guess that makes the core of my question, has the opinion on
this changed at all?
