Thanks for your response - so far, there's not been many answers/ideas -
so I'm guessing there's NO way to transfer Clipboard in SuSE?!

Thanks for your ideas of sharing X windows....the two machines are
actually Linux::Windows.  But it's not a Linux::Windows problem (as this
setup worked great for Fedora - but not SuSE).

I'm still trying to answer the original question:
