...except you don't NEED all of everything. You just need what you're
actually going to use. You don't even need to install stuff like iostat
or strace until you're actually going to use it.

   You can even uninstall it again afterwards.

   With Debian it is VERY easy to avoid installing just about anything. If
you don't want it/need it, it won't be there.
