Unfortunately that is not a native PCI-Express chipset, they used the
bridge. There are a couple of options on the PCI-Express 6800GT/Ultras,
they are just not available to purchase. When I have seen them in stock,
it is usually for less than 1 day, and at prices $100-$300 over suggested
retail.
There was rumor of a native PCI-Express chipset in the 6700 or 6900 which
would simply be a slightly modified 6800 chip, same performance, but lower
cost for nvidia to produce, and at higher yields. Latest rumor is this
chip has been cancelled. It will be interesting to see what nvidia does on
their high end.
