[NTLUG:Discuss] FedoraCore3 - Evolution 1.4/1.5 to 2.0 Update & Screen Blanking Problems

Guys,

Just did a fresh install of FedoraCore3 on my laptop (upgrading from
FC1) - very excited to use the new Evolution2 with built-in spam
filtering.  One thing you'll note, though, is that the mail storage
format is no longer MBOX - so you'll need for 'force' Evolution into
pulling in old email/address'/settings - you can see how to do that at:

I'm still struggling with screen blanking - as it is
controlled/connected by XScreenSaver...and in the Man page says:

If  the  power  management  section  is  grayed  out  in  the xscreen-
saver-demo(1) window,  then that means that your  X  server  does  not
support the XDPMS extension, and so control over the monitor’s power
state is not available.

SO....I guess when they moved from XFree86 to X.Org I've lost that
functionality (because it used to work in FC1) - if you have
insite/hints - please share.
