[NTLUG:Discuss] Best SCSI RAID for Linux

_Good_ cards that _officially_ support Linux have similar.
I haven't tried LSI's new line personally yet, just their older stuff (especially Mylex and Symbios solutions).
But yes, 3DM[2] (and its complementary CLI tool) is one of the main reasons I don't look elsewhere in an ATA solution for Linux.
If you want a complete server solution for Linux, both HP and IBM are tier-1 vendors that have full-up, unified Linux management tools.
In a nutshell, what I'm trying to say is that when cost is a consideration, I self-assemble and use 3Ware ATA RAID.
When cost is less of an issue, I go HP Proliant - especially the newer DL145 and 545 (Opteron 200/800).

I was trying to say that 3DM sounds awesome and I wish I had something
similar for my SCSI based systems.
I just tried out MegaMgr/Mon and it looks like it might be ok. The
afacli for aacraid is ok but I don't think it has any linux compatible
monitoring solution.
Thanks,
