[NTLUG:Discuss] Local Job availability

The only thing I'm noticing is the demand for specific experience. Like you
must be an expert in java blagh, blagh, blagh and some obscure application
that maybe 1000 people in the world have even seen.

But according to what I'm seeing in the job postings salary is just now
starting to become a part of the posts again and they are stating to become
respectable. I'm just hopping this ins't the same thing that was going on
during the .com boom to justify hb1s.

Hey all:

Have you noticed the salaries going back to normal
or are people still offering 50% below normal?

Have you seen a similar rise in demand for Java consultants?
I have not seen much improvement on that front yet.

Thanks,
	Neil
