Fixed Wireless.  Previous employer used an ifrared Laser Link on the
roof tops to hook two buildings across the street from each other
together.  One building had sales, admin & tech support, the other had
engineering.  Directional 802.11b would also work (range is measured in
miles, speed a couple of MB/sec, which according to your posting, is
adequate for your purposes).  Contact me off-list if you need some
