That way the conference room traffic is "firewalled" going in and out,
conf room users have access to a printer, and you can hopefully use a
decommissioned Linux box you already have without buying a router. You
could then also setup VPN tunnels between the two firewalls if desired
for specific traffic.
Of course, without knowing some details of your current network layout,
it's hard to recommend a "good and reasonable" solution to integrate
what you asking for.

What I want is for them to have access so they can check their mail. I
would prefer that they not have any access to our net at all. That
said, I
suspect that if an investor wanted to print, we'd bend over backwards to
make sure he could do so. What would the solution be then?
