Greetings.

The CompUSA folk seem to be up on which of their products will work
under Linux. If they do not know, they will know which of their techs
(and usually there is at least one, at least in my experience) will know
what should be tried. For my laptop, they would actually allow me to
try the product out in the store before I purchased, just to ensure
compatibility. (Did not always work, like when Linksys changed their
wireless chipset and did not tell anybody, or change the Model Number on
their boxes!) Which nicely allowed my to sidestep a few nasty issues.

The parts that really surprised me though was when the Generic CompUSA
stuff actually worked better than the name brand on my Linux Laptop.

Regards,
Steve
