I proudly recommend the eZ publish.

Particularly version 3.4

eZ Publish is a dual licenced gpl cms / cmf
that is designed to scale to meet just about any need.

Surprisingly eZ publish is not new, though most don't
yet quite understand the power of this very clean free software package.
IMHO it beats smaller packages (*cough* the nuke variants) feature for feature.
I have actively been developing solutions with eZ Publish Since 2001.

eZ Systems describes eZ publish better . . . .

Scared of the advance design of eZ publish 3?
Checkout the easier to understand and modify eZ publish 2.2.9
