Either way, its a thousand exposures where there were none.

I have more than a dozen Windows licenses that were not used because I 
converted the machine to Linux.  As long as Windows forces the install of 
its software on machines like Dell and HP, I feel no sorrow for whatever 
small loss MS may have in this one instance.  I'm glad Fry's did it.  We've 
all paid the Microsoft-Tax and hated it.  At least these people did not have 
to pay that tax.
