st (SCSI tape device) is installed, and these nodes have been 
(automatically) created
/dev/st0
/dev/st0l
/dev/st0m
/dev/st0a
/dev/nst0
/dev/nst0l
/dev/nst0m
/dev/nst0a

In initial testing "mt -f /dev/st0 erase" appears to be working (the 
message "Erasing" is on the display on face of Overland LoaderXpress), 
so I guess that is a good sign.

Question.
Then man(ual) pages for st say the 'n' prefix means non-rewinding, and 
otherwise each device may be defined with different characteristics 
(block size, compression, density, etc.)  What is the easiest way to 
find out how they are defined now?
