I'm not sure I follow this line well enough to put my .02 in,but I have a 
server recommendation. Trustix Secure Linux 2.1 (2.2 will be the last free 
version) or Tinysofa Enterprise Server (which I use now). Like I said ,that 
may not be the answer to your question,but when I need to build a server it's 
what I use.
