Ouch! Don't buy your drives from them. Just get the carriers and
buy better quality drives from almost anywhere else. You'll save
quite a bit (just a hint).
DL380 have some problems. The occasionally hang on reboot... doesn't
seem to matter if it's a G2 or G3, Compaq or newer HP. The RAID
controller is nothing to write home about. Even under some pretty
high loads, you'll find software raid to be twice as fast. But,
it is HW raid... so we still use it.
But all-in-all.. nice server with 6 hotswap drives in a 2U form factor.
Very reliable (apart from occasional drive issues with the Seagates).
