Well, if you only resort to calling names and not naming the
distros you are willing to work with, it is difficult to help.

First FAQ question on Installation, and as far ass I know will work
with most distributions. I would recommend modifying a boot floppy to
do a network install. Easier to play with than burning a bunch of CDs.
