[NTLUG:Discuss] OT samba question

I am running smbclient on a UNIX server, in an automated
(non-interactive) script to transfer small text files (one per session)
from that UNIX box to a Window box, and logging the output from each
session (see the "snip" of an example session log below).

Three things:
(1) The line "load_client_codepage: filename
/usr/samba/lib/codepages/codepage.850
does not exist."
(2) The size of the file transferred, and the transfer speed (kb/s and
average kb/s) are not being reported - they are being left blank.
(3) Some few transfers "disappear" - the log reports them without error,
but the Biztalk application that should pick them up at the other end
"never see them".
(3-a) This only a few, and it is seemingly random.
(3-b) We have tested by turning off the Biztalk "pick up" process, but
not been able to make one "disappear".

If anyone could shed a little light on any of this, or suggest a
direction to look, I would appreciate it very much. Thank you in
advance for any help you may be able to offer.
Regards
Fred James
