PRO:  Once properly trained, your users will notice a *huge* 
reduction in the amount of spam that gets to their inbox.  Used
in conjunction with imap and the additional filters in Mozilla, 
you can get about 99% of the spam.

CON:  I can't think of any really.

TIP:  Run it in daemon mode (spamd/spamc).  Uses a *lot* less resources.

Personally I wouldn't install a mail server without SpamAssassin.
