[NTLUG:Discuss] PPP Internet connection problems - Mandrake 9.1

Had no improvement there. 

I did note that during pings, the kppp statistics showed outbound 
traffic and the 'packets sent' count was incrementing, indicating that 
the route through the modem is functional.  DNS is non-existent, though.

Thanks for the suggestions, anyway.
