Yeah, that's right. DHCP was mainly to make sure that the box came up
in the same net as the box trying to install and the netboot feature.
There is tons of info out there re: netboot installs for the Cobalt
line.
I *did* have to configure tfpt to export the nfs share. I remember
because my half written howto has that in there (funny how we lose
interest when it works for us).
Ralph, if you are really interested, I'll send you what I have written
down. I don't think it'll be necessary for the RaQ3, as it wasn't MIPS
based, but it probably won't be that different.

It's all better than installing the initial Sun/Cobalt install OS.
