Pete,
  I'd suggest you go with Apache2.  Some people need to use version 1.x
because of compatibility with Apache 1 modules or just because they
don't trust version 2 yet. For home use, you might as well just use the
latest version.
  And I think we ought to install PMWiki on the NTLUG machine and start
off with a page or two. What do other members think?
