Howdy,
The IBM Thinkpad 730 is a 486 tablet computer Win 95 works, but I am
not sure there is enough memory space to get more than a basic Linux
running. I think the most it handled was 16 meg and it only used pcmcia
hard drives Fujitsu made a similar modelA PCMCIA CF adapter with a CF card
might work. . When you say text, do you mean you want to dispense with a
GUI? If you want this most basic usage, I have a 730 I could loan you to
test with. The only catch is that if you get Linux working, you have you
make me a copy. Let me know if you are interested.
Good day,
Ralph
