Howdy,
   So does SuSE.  I installed SuSE 8.2 from CD yesterday to upgrade a Win98 
machine.  I was going to get rid on Win 98, but the SuSE installer offered 
to resize the Win 98 partition and I decided to test it.  I had not 
defragged ever on this machine, because I never used the machine for 
anything except running the Seti client..  The install went fine and Win 98 
was resized and runs fine.  I'll probably redo it to get rid of the Win 98 
partition, but I can attest that it works fine.
