I could always burn you a copy.... even DVD if you want.
I've just gotten done with an  8.2 image for a laptop that uses
the 7500 radeon mobility.  Works ok... even 3d (Compaq N610c).
Like all ATI device drivers though.. occasionally there
are artifacts.
