I need help configuring sound in my new RH9 system.
Audio device is VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233 AC97 Audio Controller
It's an onboard chip on a Biostar M7VIW-A01 MB.

I tried redhat-config-soundcard but when I clicked "Play test sound" I saw
the following error message in terminal window:
via82cxxx_audio: Device or resource busy

I see a line in /proc/interrupts that looks like this:
5: 4277838 XT-PIC usb-uhci, usb-uhci, via82cxxx

I also see following lines in /proc/pci
 Bus 0, device 16, function 1:
USB Controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. USB (#2) (rev 128).
      IRQ 5.
      Master Capable. Latency=32.
      I/O at 0xd800 [0xd81f].
 Bus 0, device 17, function 5:
Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233 AC97 Audio
Controller (rev 80).
      IRQ 5.
      I/O at 0xe400 [0xe4ff].

cat /dev/urandom > /dev/dsp yealds no error messages nor sound.
