Chris,
   That would be great.  I like the mPlayer interface a little better, but 
Xine is plenty good enough and if it sets up and works easily, that make it 
easily the winner.  Please do make a copy for me, if you get the time.

I've got a pre-built SuSE 8.2 set of rpms for Xine with all of the bells
