[NTLUG:Discuss] Redhat9 - hostid doesn't work

Howdy,
    SuSE is growing on me.  I started seriously using it a few months back 
because Chris is so gung ho about it.  What is this small site you speak 
of?  I have one machine for multimedia at home now that is a current SuSE 
box.  It play music fine, but none of the videos in my collection worked 
out of the box.
   I am probably going to reinstall everything on it in a month or two 
anyway.  I decided that I need a bigger hard disk and this little bitty PC 
has room for only one internal drive.  So, when I redo it, I'll have to 
decide whether tofigure out the problems with videos or use info off of a 
website such as you allude to.
