I'm just reply again.

One of us has to match the other's format. I thought I've been sending 
plain text. So, hopefully you'll get this message and be able to read it.

I have the same problem with evolution. I use my cursor to highlight the 
blank spot or I click reply and  it converts the message received to 
plain text. It's a work-around but I can read evolution mail.

Please let me know if you get this one.
