I installed an HP3820 printer on my Linux Mdk box and it works great! However,
the other puter on my LAN is a Win95 box. The install CD is, of course, written
for Windows and a networked printer is not an option in the windows install. I
then went to the Win Add-a-printer and added it as a network printer, using the
W95 driver from the CD. So far, so good. The Netwrk Neighbrhd shows the printer
icon and, when I print, Win says it prints. The Linux /var/spool/samba
directory gets a file during the "print", but nothing happens with the printer.
So, it looks like Windows is handing off the print job to Linux, but it
disappears before it gets to the printer. I can access other Samba shares.

What am I missing?
