[NTLUG:Discuss] Hardware ? with some W2K OT

I have an older IBM Intellistation which I love working with, except
that I cannot seem to set the BIOS to boot from the cdrom. I have
decided, since I also run W2K, that I would set the boot.ini to be able
to offer the choice of cdrom for a boot device. The problem is, I
cannot seem to find the boot.ini file anywhere on my system. Can
someone, off the list, tell me where to find this file? Yes, I have set
the viewing options to show hidden files. I have run search from the
root account, and the file does not seem to exist. If I can set it to
offer the cdrom for a boot option, there are a number of neat things I
can begin to run. TIA, Dennis in Victoria

Running Debian with a 2.4 kernel is easy. It's called Libranet Linux
