[NTLUG:Discuss] Wireless NIC Problem

I picked up a WPC11 ver. 3 last night and installed the wlan-ng drivers.
The card was identified as a linksys in the cardctl ident and worked
immediatly. I was so releived I never tried to install the orinioco. I
guess now I can tinker with the WPC11 ver. 4 when I have time. Thanks for
the feedback.

What worries me is that the only time I see a ver. 4 mentioned anywhere on
the internet is in relation to the same problem I am having. I borrowed a
differnet card (an orinoco) to try tonight. Hopefully I can get it up and
running.

That is my concern. Need to verify the chipset before. As far as the
pcmcia configs, it is as listed on that page, making the changes in
/etc/pcmcia/config, /etc/pcmcia/config.opts and /etc/pcmcia/wlan-ng.conf
depending on which issue it is (IIRC).

I can't find version 4 listed on the linksys website or anywhere else so
far.
