I've tried pinfo as well as the KDE help tool. The KDE (Konqueror) tool
is nice but not very fast. You still have man and info as 2 lookups.
When I've got 7 or 8 edit windows up and I need to check the header
needs for say access() I can do a man access() and get the answer in a
couple seconds. Having another GUI window open gets in the way and
having to switch to another virtual window is too much work. Every time
I run info and have to search several pages just to remind me that
realloc() takes the element count as the 1st parameter is not my idea of
helpful!!
I think maybe I've got an idea for a great OSS tool. Convert info files
to man files. I guess this would count as reinventing the wheel again.
