I drive 45 minutes 1 ways to Fry's also from south of Dallas. I think the educated shopper "can" have a good experience at Fry's. As long as you maintain control of the sale, check the merchandise before you leave the store and know what you are looking for. As for the sales staff, I don't ask them anything technical or where to find things. I was told they didn't have a mobo I was looking for (FIC AU11) and they had stacks. None were on the floor with the rest of the mobos but I found them myself above the fans/heat sinks. I asked the associate, who told me they didn't have any, to get one down for me.

Don't forget 1st/3rd Saturday computer sales!

Can someone post the address for the new Fry's store?

I have heard all the bad stories, and issues with Fry's but to be perfectly 
honest, I have been driving 45 minutes 1 way to get there for years. I have 
not once received bad merchandise. I however had my friends get bad stuff, 
but I have been very fortunate myself. I am for one very excited about the 
new Fry's and I have been to it twice already. :) I guess I am lucky so far.
