Howdy,
Are you saying that you don't want to login on the NT box? Or that you
don't wish to type the user id and password when you try to share the SAMBA
share from the Linux box?
If it is the later, just create a userid and password on the unix box
that matches what you use on the NT box and be sure it has permissions for
the share.
If the former, then do you could specify the user id and password on
the command line and run it from a batch file that runs at system
start. This should be OK unless you are concerned about the user id and
password being stored as plain text in a batch file.
I had an NT box on my home network for years, but I upgraded it in
Linux. So I can't check the exact syntax for you, but I think you can get
the systax by going to a command prompt and typing net use /?
Good luck,
Ralph
