Bummer!  I've have similar problems in the past with Moz just going into La-La 
land, :-( but it's becoming more of rarity. :-)

Yes.  I just installed 1.3final about a week ago.

Anyways, look on the Moz site, there are some instructions there 
(http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews/spam-howto.html).  I've been keeping all the 
spam my ISP doesn't catch for the last couple of months (something like 700 of 
them).  I used that to "train" the algorithm.  It works pretty well.  I've set 
it up so the caught spam is sent to my special spam folder, which I'll soon 
change to Trash.  I'm still monitoring it to add to my "whitelist".
