  It says that linux is insecure because it is not certified yet. Redhat 
is going for EAL2 certification on its advanced server.  Windows 2000, SP3 
is EAL4 certified.  EAL4 is better than EAL2.

  I don't know about you, but experience tells me otherwise.  You can make 
any machine less secure through configuration, but Windows has been 
leaking Security updates for core OS software like a sieve, especially 
when compared to Linux.
 
  Windows Applications do appear to have less problems (in numbers of 
apps that have had security updates put out), unless they have 
been put out by Microsoft (IE, SQL Server, IIS, Outlook, Microsoft 
Office).  However, this may be due to the fact that the OS is so 
problematic that the applications have not had their day in security hell 
yet.  Once the OS is security stabilized, (which may never happen), the 
Apps will start being nailed hard.
