A google search (ODBC Linux) gets you 398,000 responses as well as 
directory Computers > Programming > Databases > ODBC.

A search at LDP gets 41 hits.

I'd start with LDP since they have M$ SQL and ODBC connectivity specific 
pages like http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/mini/MSSQL6-Openlink-PHP-ODBC.html.
