One question I had... the client is on a IRIX 6.4 system... isn't that 
a Unix ( unix-like ) system. Does Microsoft have ODBC drivers for that? 
Just curious. I assumed that the MS ODBC stuff was for windows
platforms.... this part of the question confused me.
